Brazilian full-back Alex Telles was persuaded to join Al Nassr and leave Manchester United after speaking with Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Reuters.

Telles, who won the Europa League while on loan at Sevilla the previous season, inked a deal with Al Nassr in July that would last until 2025.

Telles stated in a conversation: “When Al Nassr first spoke to me  I sent Cristiano a message and his answer was to come here. Of course, Cristiano continues to develop here and His experience increases every day.”

“Look at the number of goals he scored. I will only talk about him with praise because of the records he broke, and I was lucky enough to play with him at Manchester United and then Al Nassr .”

“Ronaldo remains a decisive player and a great leader who always takes responsibility in the dressing room, helps everyone and creates a good atmosphere.”

With 25 points, Al Nassr is currently 4 points behind Al-Hilal, the top team in the rankings. Their squad includes players like Ruben Neves, Neymar, and Kalidou Koulibaly.
