Insisting she was ‘always nice’ to her boyfriends, she called herself a ‘good girlfriend.’

Accepting her award from hitmaker Robin Thicke, the beauty told the crowd: ‘I thought I was gonna come and wing [my speech] and be good.

‘But then I woke up early this morning and thought, “Gigi, there is no way you’re going to be calm or cool in front of Kobe ever in your life.”

‘So I called a friend and I said, “What do I say that is funny?”‘

Her friend advised her to joke about her middle school crushes, as reported by Us Weekly.

But, Gigi explained: ‘I was like, “I have always been a good girlfriend, even when in middle school when I have had crushes I have always been kind of nice.”‘

Gigi has previously dated Joe Jonas and Cody Simpson. The 21-year-old and Zayn ended their relationship this week after seven months.

A source source confirmed the split to E! News although the insider did tell the site that ‘they can likely get back together tomorrow.’

The source also told E!: ‘It’s all very unclear what going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.’

On Saturday the model stole the show with her sheer and Sєxy black dress that exposed her flat belly.

Striking a smoldering pose, Gigi looked sensational as she worked the red carpet in her turtleneck and long-sleeved frock which put her gym-honed and statuesque legs on full show.

The beaded mini dress featured see-through black lace fabric and strategic cut-outs, providing fans with a glimpse of her skin. 

The catwalk queen had her golden tresses slicked dramatically over her head in a side part, with full waves draped over her face. 

Complimenting her pH๏τogenic complexion, Gigi opted for a natural coat of pink blush, earthy smoky eyeshadow, and ɴuᴅᴇ lips. 

She finished off the look with a pair of silver and strappy heels, elevating her statuesque and toned physique. 

Gigi posed up with fellow Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen, who ravished in a beaded black blazer which was ʙuттoned at the belly. 

The new mother wore her silky sun kissed locks across her face in wavy tendrils, and teamed the ensemble with plum purple heels and a clutch. 

This year’s Guys Choice Awards honoured the likes of Julia Roberts and Kobe Bryant, and is a celebration of ‘all things guy’.
