A compelling video featuring Marcus Rashford chronicles his first-ever attendance at a high-profile fashion show. The 25-year-old football player for Manchester United displayed his striking sense of style by attending Pharrell Williams’ first performance at the renowned Pont Neuf Bridge in his capacity as men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton.
He paired a striking trademark t-shirt from the French luxury brand with black pants and a bright green coat from Louis Vuitton, which retailed for over £2,000. Marcus, who participated in 56 games for United in the previous campaign, accessorized his ensemble with a bold pair of eyeglasses and eye-catching silver chains.
On their Instagram page, Louis Vuitton posted a video of the football player expressing excitement about going to their “Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 Show.” Despite being a well-known fashion icon to his almost 16 million Instagram followers, Marcus acknowledged in the video that this was his “first big show.”
Marcus stated: “Usually, when they’re on, the season is in full swing and we have games. Thus, you never truly have the chance to visit them. It’s interesting to me since I’ve always been fascinated in fashion, particularly Louis Vuitton.
“I normally wear Louis Vuitton at home because I think the brand is just a step beyond the competition. It’s absurd how many different clothes you can put together.
The celebrity disclosed that he would rather wear “in the middle” t-shirts than ones that are either tight or too big. He clarified that he wore the green Cotton Coach Jacket from Louis Vuitton in order to give his ensemble a “pop” of color.
Marcus went on, “People who wear their stuff, we don’t necessarily need to understand the vision, but when something drops, it connects with a lot of people for some reason.” It is a terrific moment for Louis Vuitton because I know a lot of my friends are wearing the brand right now.
At the sunset show, the Manchester United forward showed support for Pharrell alongside Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Lenny Kravitz. In February, he was announced as the next designer for Virgil Abloh, who passed away. However, he never received professional training in fashion design. The American musician has previously worked with Marc Jacobs, Moncler, Adidas, and Chanel. Some of her most well-known songs are “Happy,” “Get Lucky,” and “She Wants To Move.”
