Henry Cavill successfully portrayed the role of Earth’s Greatest Hero aka Superman, and it has now become one of his most popular roles. However, the actor had to part ways from his fab-favorite role thanks to WB’s plans for a DC reboot. It has been a year already but fans are still not over the news and have been campaigning for Cavill to join Marvel for he seems to be too good a talent to not be a superhero.

While there has been no news of him being a Marvel hero anytime soon, fans seem to have fancast him as this one Marvel superhero, which seems to perfect and deserving of the actor. And it is the Superman equivalent of Marvel aka Hyperion.

One Marvel Superhero Fans Want Henry Cavill To Play

Ever since Henry Cavill was allegedly kicked out of DCEU, numerous fans have been campaigning for the actor to play a Marvel superhero. Among many roles, the one Marvel superhero that keeps coming up is Hyperion.

Even last year, Henry Cavill was rumored to be in Loki season 2 as Hyperion, Marvel’s version of the Kryptonian superhero. However, the actor soon denied these rumors. But fans cannot seem to have enough of the Man of Steel star and still seem to be rallying for the actor to play a Marvel hero.

Hyperion first made an appearance in 1969’s Avengers #69 and has had numerous incarnations in the comic book’s multiverse. He has also been associated with Squadron Sinister, a villainous team as well as the Squadron Supreme, a team of superheroes. From being an anti-hero to a superhero he has many mantles in different comic book mythos.

Later on, he was later introduced as the last eternal who gets sent to Earth-616 and later becomes an Avenger. Hyperion possesses similar powers to Superman and is also hyper-intelligent but is vulnerable to Vibranium.

Fans Name Henry Cavill As The Perfect Hyperion In MCU

Over the years, there have been many campaigns of fans wanting Henry Cavill to portray a Marvel superhero and Hyperion is the one character that the majority of his fans want to star as. Social media, especially X, seems to be full of fans posting for Marvel to cast him as Hype.

The only answer is Hyperion.

Despite these fan campaigns, there has been no news or even a rumor of Cavill starring as Hyperion for the actor already seems to have his hands full. Even if Marvel does cast him or bring Hyperion into the MCU, being a part of The Eternals or Thunderbolts (an upcoming Marvel movie), seems to be the perfect way the studio can bring him in since he has a history with both.

While Cavill is busy with his other projects and even Thunderbolts is expected to be released by 2025, the movie might be the perfect way to introduce Henry Cavill as Hyperion. Hence fans have been keeping a watchful eye, hoping and waiting.
